This means the process of being given passion and/or ideas for a task. “I can do all things through him who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13)

This means being outstanding or extremely good. “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart as working for the Lord" (Colossians 3:23-24)

This connects us with each other. “We who are many, are one body in Christ”(Romans 12:5)

This means having a deep awareness and sympathy for another's suffering. “When Jesus went ashore, He saw a large crowd and He felt compassion for them because they were like sheep without a shepherd; and he began to teach them many things" (Mark 6:34)

Friends of St George the Martyr Primary

Our Coffee Mornings for parents and carers run every Thursday for the four weeks prior to a major school event, such as our Christmas Fair, International Food Fair and the Summer Fair.

We run them from 9:00 - 11:00am and they will take place in our Multifunction Room.

 

We would like the parents attending to help with organising the three main school events which take place throughout the academic year such as:

 

  • The Christmas Fair: baking cakes, making costumes, henna designs and making posters
  • The Summer Fair: henna, baking, making posters, getting parents together to help at the Fair, collecting for the raffle 
  • The International Food Fair: cooking food from their home countries for stalls at the fair 

 

Parents can also use this time in the group to socialise and it is a great way for the parents of St George the Martyr to get to know each other.

 

All parents and carers are welcome to come along.
