Before your child starts school it is a good idea to come and have a tour of our school. This will help you to decide if the school is right for you and your child. You can book a place on a tour by calling the school office on 0207 405 5640, we will be happy to book you on a tour, at a date and time which suits you. We understand how important it is to visit the school before making a choice, therefore we are very flexible and willing to accommodate you and your needs.
If you decide that you would like your child to attend the school you should look at the following priority categories. We usually have more applicants than there are places, therefore we offer places to children in the following order (the full admissions policy is available from the school office).
Children who are in public care and children who are looked after*(see below) or children who have been previously looked after but ceased to be so because they were adopted (or became subject to a residence order or special guardianship order). Evidence will be requested to support this status
Nursery Funding
The Government has introduced policies which affect free nursery places in Camden.
This is an offer of 30 hours free early education for working parents who meet certain criteria. All parents will be required to register on the Government website, ‘Childcare Choices’ (link below), to see if they meet the criteria which will affect the funding for our school.
It is essential that parents of children joining our nursery register on the Government website to ensure that we receive funding to run our Nursery. Below you will find a copy of a letter sent from the school explaining the process and a useful flowchart.
If you do not register or complete the Camden Enhanced Offer form, we will not be able to start your child in our Nursery full time.
