Welcome to our school. We are a one form entry primary school in central London with very happy staff and children. If you would like to have a tour of the school please contact the school office to arrange a suitable time.

Admissions

Before your child starts school it is a good idea to come and have a tour of our school. This will help you to decide if the school is right for you and your child. You can book a place on a tour by calling the school office on 0207 405 5640, we will be happy to book you on a tour, at a date and time which suits you. We understand how important it is to visit the school before making a choice, therefore we are very flexible and willing to accommodate you and your needs.

If you decide that you would like your child to attend the school you should look at the following priority categories.  We usually have more applicants than there are places, therefore we offer places to children in the following order (the full admissions policy is available from the school office).

Criteria for admissions to St George the Martyr CE Primary School:

  1. Children who are in public care and children who are looked after*(see below) or children who have been previously looked after but ceased to be so because they were adopted (or became subject to a residence order or special guardianship order). Evidence will be requested to support this status

  2. Children who are at the Churches of St George the Martyr, Queen Square or Holy Cross Cromer Street.
